When I found out I was going to have a girl, I got all excited to make clothes for my baby. I could picture all these cute little dresses and outfits I was going to make for her. I'm not quite sure why I thought I would be able to do this since I don't know how to sew clothing. After a couple attempts and some ugly finished products, I decided to steer clear from sewing articles of clothing and decided instead to embellish things that I can buy at the store. And since onsies cost about $2 a piece, I thought this would be a good thing to start with. I think she looks so cute in this one.

QUE CHULINA ESA ROPITA!!! HAY QUE SEGUIR HACIENDOLO PORQUE TE SALE MUY BIEN!!!
I love that first onesie...they are all cute, but I love the stitching. What did you use for the flowers? You are so ambitious, it makes me tired just thinking about all that you're getting done with a new baby. I'm jealous of your garden, and I can't wait till next year when I can have one again!!
Those are really cute. Laura looks adorable in them.
Will you give me applique lessons? I'd have to do something other than ruffle, though. Maybe spikes.
You're amazing Candice! I wish I could attempt doing something like that. The most daring I am is buying the headbands and using velcro to attach flowers and what not. So fun for your little one though!
Love them. YOu make the rest of us regular moms look bad with our store bought food and clothes:) I can't believe I didn't look at your blog to see all the fun posts about Laura! She is a doll and yes you do have skinny legs. They are hot! I am so glad you and Laura are doing good. Hang in there with the nursing thing!
Hey super creative! I am glad you will have many fun creative things to share with me by the time I have my babies! Keep up the good work. :) I miss you and hope to see you in August!
