What we've been up to

After what seems like forever, Laura has finally decided that she is ready to start walking. And I am loving it. She just keeps getting more and more fun.

I took Laura to our favorite park to go on a walk and it was such a gorgeous day we had to take a couple of pictures. I am loving spring in TN. The last few years I have been in Utah for the spring. I hate spring weather in Utah. Really, does it have to continue to snow until June? Maybe in a couple of months, when my clothes are sticking to my wet, sticky body, I will be missing Utah's more moderate summer weather.

Isn't she starting to look so much like her father? Everyone tells us she looks like a little Peter.

Grandma Munk came to stay with us several weeks ago and we loved having her here. She even let us share her birthday with us. It was a great opportunity to try out the birthday banner and hats I just made.

And last but not least, I have little blossoms all over my vegetable plants! About a month ago, I built these homemade earthboxes following an online tutorial. I wanted to have a garden, but didn't have a spot to put it. So I built these to put on my deck.

And now, a little over a month later, my tomato, squash, zucchini, and cucumbers are covered in little yellow blossoms. I love gardening. Even if it is in a cheap, plastic tub. It is so exciting to watch plants grow.

Oh, Candice you are so inspiring! Laura is a DOLL! I love all her outfits. She is so lucky to have you for her mother. And the garden you created on your back porch... WOW!

As I'm sure you might have heard it snowed the other day in Utah. All day long I thought about this post and how jealous I was that y'all are in Tennessee. I love Tennessee so much that Brent has agreed to move there one day, and he has never see one part of it.

I love your garden! So great! I wish it would warm up so my garden would grow here. :( And I love the precious pictures of Laura. She is so adorable!

This is Angela by the way, not Enrique. Anyway, those are the cutest pictures of Laura! I love the video of her walking. She is getting so big. Did you make those cute dresses she is wearing in the pictures? She really does look like Peter. No, Peter, that doesn't mean you look like a girl. :)

Maddie is in Laura-withdrawal. I might just let her dress up the baby as a girl for awhile. That won't cause any permanent damage, will it?And there's no chance I'm getting jeremy to make me one of those garden boxes--too much effort. He'll say "just buy one." Good job to you.
